- Export the scan as open .stl files
- Create a new prescription in CARES® VISUAL CAD software
- Design the BLX or TLX restoration and submit CAD design to Straumann® manufacturing

- Save scan files as open .stl files

- Scan site with CARES® BLX (065.0035) or TLX (036.3220) scanbodies*
- Export the scan as open .stl files
- Using the CARES Medit Link® receive the .stl files
- Create a new prescription in CARES® VISUAL CAD software
- sign the BLX or TLX restoration and submit CAD design to Straumann® manufacturing

- Scan site with CARES® BLX (065.0035) or TLX (036.3220) scanbodies*
- Save scan files as open .stl files
- Upload .stl file to the CARES® Scan & Shape Portal

iTero® workflow
- Set up case as Straumann® BLT case prior to scanning
- Scan the Straumann® BLX (065.0035) or TLX (036.3220) scanbodies* as BLT in iTero® prep with the Straumann® BLX or TLX in place
- Identify the case as a BLX or TLX in-lab case and in the notes please put platform size, restoration type and shade
- Submit the case files via CARES® Connect
- Create a new prescription in CARES® VISUAL CAD software
- Convert the case from BLT to BLX or TLX
- Design the restoration and submit the design to Straumann® manufacturing

- Set up case as Straumann® BLT case prior to scanning
- Scan the Straumann® BLX (065.0035) or TLX (036.3220) scanbodies* as BLT in iTero® prep with the Straumann® BLX or TLX in place

- Identify the case as a BLX or TLX in-lab case and in the notes please put platform size, restoration type and shade
- Upload .stl file to CARES® Scan & Shape Portal and attached case notes in the free comment section
- Complete your CAD/CAM folder

CEREC® workflow
- Scan the Straumann® BLX (065.0035) or TLX (036.3220) scanbodies* as tooth borne prep
- Save scan files as open .stl files
- Identify the case as a BLX or TLX in-lab case and in the notes please put platform size, restoration type and shade
- Import as 3rd party scan (STL) then convert to implant borne in CARES®
- Create a new prescription in CARES® VISUAL CAD software with the attached cases notes
- Convert to BLX or TLX implant borne case in CARES® Visual
- Design the BLX or TLX restoration and submit the design to Straumann® manufacturing

- Scan the Straumann® BLX (065.0035) or TLX (036.3220) scanbodies* as tooth borne prep
- Save scan files as open .stl files
